SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR MISSION CLEARANCE FOR EEB/ESC/TFS

1. (SBU) Department requests mission clearance for Thomas
Delare, Director of EEB's Office of Terrorism Finance and
Economic Sanctions Policy, for meetings scheduled with USUN
counterterrorism (CT) and sanctions experts, UN 1267
(Al-Qaida/Taliban) sanctions experts from the UK, France and
Austria, as well as UN 1267 Monitoring Team Coordinator
Richard Barrett.


2. (SBU) Mission assistance will be needed for UN badging but
will not be required for travel and hotel arrangements.

Itinerary is as follows:
