1. (SBU) In response to referenced Leahy vetting request,
the Department has reviewed its files and finds it possesses
no credible information of gross violations of human rights
at this time by the Jordanian officials listed below. Please
note that if at any time the EMBASSY becomes aware of
information regarding incidents which could be deemed to be
credible information of a gross violation of human rights by
these individuals, the EMBASSY should so inform the
Department.
2. (SBU) The following Jordanian officials listed in reftel
are scheduled to participate in a US-sponsored Anti-Terrorism
Assistance (ATA) Jordan Call Center Project site visit
beginning February 13, 2009 in New Jersey. The names of the
candidates follow in "rank, name, city of birth (in Jordan),
year of birth" format:
1) COL, ZIED AHMAD MUSTAFA AL-ZOBI, ZARQA, 12/26/1964
2) MAJ, NOUR MUSTAFA HUSSEIN BENI-YOUSEF, IRBID, 1972
3) 1ST LT, KHALID BASHEER ABDUL KAREEM AL-MASRI, AS-SALT, 1971
4) WARRANT OFFICER (WO),OMAR IBRAHIM ABD-ALKARIM AL-ZWAHREH,

to authorized parties: EMBASSY verifies that the Department
