PolOff delivered reftel points to MFA Director for
Multilateral Affairs Svetlana Geleva. Consistent with the
feedback that Geleva and her deputy, Sanja Zografska-Krteska,
provided to our September demarche on UNGA goals and
objectives, Geleva indicated that we could expect support on
our priorities in the Third Committee. Macedonia will
co-sponsor resolutions on Iran, Burma, and DPRK. Macedonia
will also support the biennial U.S. elections resolution.
Macedonia will also join the U.S. in opposing no-action
motions.
