(SBU) On May 4, Econoff separately spoke to officials at the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Monetary
Authority of Singapore (MAS) regarding Kosovo's application to join
the IMF and World Bank and delivered talking points per reftel.
According to Mr. LEONG Sing Chiong, Executive Director of MAS's
External Department, the GOS has yet to decide how or whether it
would vote. However, he said the GOS would be able to formulate a
response by the May 5 deadline for the vote in the IMF. Embassy
will report any further developments to EEB via email.
