ROK RESPONSE TO GICNT/EPG DEMARCHE LANGUAGE

This is an action request. (See para 2.) ¶2. The ROKG requests that the following changes be made to the GICNT Workshop/EPG Meeting announcement contained in reftel, para 6. -- In the first paragraph, change the title of the GICNT workshop to "Current Progress in Detecting and Responding to the Illicit Transport and Trafficking of Nuclear and Radioactive Materials." The ROKG believes the title change provides more context and scope to what "responding" might mean. -- In the first paragraph, change the EPG meeting date from "April 15" to "April 16." As currently written, the demarche announcement has the EPG meeting beginning on the same day as the second day of the GICNT Workshop. -- In the second paragraph, change "NLT" to "no later than." The ROKG wanted the demarche announcement to be clear since it expects that the announcement would be left as a non-paper. -- In the sixth paragraph, change "Dr. Yu, Donghan at dhyu@kinac.re.kr" to "Dr. Kwak, Sungwoo at swkwak@kinac.re.kr" since Dr. Kwak now handles the portfolio. -- The ROKG also asks that the demarche announcement includes the proposed agenda (schedule),which can also be left as a non-paper. -- The ROKG agrees that the demarche instructions should include instructions indicative of reftel, para 5. ¶3.
