1. This is an action request. See para 3.
2. Poloff delivered reftel information on February 13 to
Park Eun-Jin of the Disarmament and Nonproliferation Division
within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MOFAT).
Park will review the information along with her counterpart
within the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and
forward any questions directly to the WMDT POCs.
3. The ROKG has made the following requests.
-- For USG feedback on the latest draft agenda for the GICNT
workshop, "Workshop on Current Progress in Detecting and
Responding to Nuclear and RADIOACTIVE Materials." The ROKG's
need for feedback is urgent because of its desire to announce
the conference on the GICNT website.
-- The ROKG seeks assistance in finding volunteers for
presentations.
4. The ROKG's POC is Park Eun-Jin in Seoul at 822-2100-7246
(telephone) and ejpark07@mofat.go.kr.
