1. (S) On October 23, Pol-Mil Unit Chief Dorothy Delahanty
met with Koo Hyun-mo, Director, Disarmament and
Nonproliferation Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
Trade, to deliver reftel demarche concerning information
related to the DPRK cargo seized from the MSC Rachele. Koo
said he had already received the same points from the ROK UN
mission. Koo promised not to reveal the U.S. origin of the
information, and to maintain the secrecy of the information
by labeling it "Secret" when it is provided to the 1718
Committee.
