Tae-ick, Director of MOFAT's Human Rights and Social Affairs
Division, calling on the ROKG to support an unbiased
resolution on the Goldstone Report. Cho, noting that the ROK
had discussed the issue in detail with the Israelis, said
Seoul would likely "follow the EU's lead." He explained that
MOFAT believes the EU will craft a "balanced" resolution
acceptable to the United States that will be presented at the
UN Human Rights Commission's September 29 session.
