1. (U) As of August 20 and through August 23, Charge d'
Affairs Mark Tokola has authorized the lowering of the flag
to half mast in observation of the mourning period and State
Funeral for former Republic of Korea President Kim Dae-jung.
The ROKG has lowered flags for the mourning period as have
other Embassies.
