Reftel requests post comments on a Chilean institution, Fondo
Esperanza, that might be considered for a loan from the
Microfinance Growth Fund, which in turn is under consideration for
an OPIC loan. Fondo Esperanza is favorably known to the Embassy
for its work providing microcredit to individuals (mostly women)
from disadvantaged communities in Chile.
