(SBU) GOES plans attendance at UNGA as follows: ¶A. Attendance of the Head of State/Head of Government -- President Mauricio Funes -- Will arrive in New York on September 22 and will depart on September 24. President Funes has no plans to visit other U.S. locations. He is scheduled to address the General Assembly on September 23 at 5PM. President Funes also plans to attend the cocktail hosted by POTUS on the evening of September 23. -- First Lady Vanda Pignato will accompany President Funes to New York. -- Spanish interpretation required. ¶B. Attendance of the Foreign Minister -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Hugo Martinez -- Will arrive in New York on September 20 and will depart on September 26. FM Martinez has no plans to visit other U.S. locations. He will be accompanied by three staffers. -- FM Martinez spouse will not travel to New York. -- Spanish interpretation required. ¶C.
