(SBU) Poloff delivered reftel points July 6 outlining USG
support for NGO involvement at the UN to Gustavo Argueta,
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Multilateral Affairs Officer.
Argueta said the new administration had great interest in
working with NGOs worldwide, but was as yet unable to confirm
whether the GOES would support consultative status for the
Democracy Coalition Project (DCP) or the Dynamic Christian
World Mission Foundation U.S.A. (DCWMF). He said that he
would not have a definitive response until the Vice Minister
returns to El Salvador next week.
