Post delivered reftel points and U.S. Treasury Advisory on
North Korea by letter to Jose Roberto Monroy, Director of El
Salvador's Financial Intelligence Unit, on July 2. Copies
were also provided to the Superintendent of the Financial
System, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the National
Civil Police. Econoff followed up with Monroy later on July
2, and Monroy replied that he would promptly circulate the
Treasury Advisory within the Salvadoran financial system.
