1. (SBU) Post delivered reftel designation of Abdul Haq via
letter to Jose Rolando Monroy Sintigo, Director of El
Salvador's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU),on May 19.
Copies were also provided to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
National Civil Police, Superintendent of the Financial
System, and Ministry of Interior.
2. (SBU) On May 28, Sub-Inspector Oswaldo Danilo Lizano
Sanchez of the National Civil Police's Joint Intelligence
Center notified Post that they had searched their databases
and had no information about Abdul Haq or any of his aliases.
Post will report any additional substantive response.
