Ahmed Saif al-Kadasi, Director of the United Nations Office
at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Kadasi commented that
the Government of India had also asked for the ROYG's vote in
the upcoming UN Appeals Tribunal elections. He promised to
fax the USG request to support Judge Mark P. Painter in the
elections to Yemen's UN delegation immediately, and did not
anticipate any problems in securing Yemen's vote for Judge
Painter.
