Counselor Abdulrahman Al-Ahmed at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs. Al-Ahmed assured us he would pass on the request
for co-sponsorship to the relevant parties today and welcomed
the designation of AQAP and Al-Shihri, but offered no further
substantive response.
2. (U) Post will report any further substantive response as
soon as we receive it.
