1. (U) Latvia will probably attend the September 26 Partnering for
Food Security Event, but the GOL has not determined who will attend.
Pol/Econ Off delivered reftel demarche to Evija Dumpe, Deputy Head
of the MFA's Development Cooperation and Economic Policy Department.
Ms. Dumpe said that Latvia has no money for new foreign assistance
grants or programs, but they are continuing to fund their current
foreign assistance obligations.
