(SBU) Poloff and Legatt met with Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs Head of Security and Disarmament Affairs Section Chief Bouchaib Eloumni on March 13 and encouraged Morocco to send up to six participants to the Regional Proliferation Security Initiative Counter-proliferation Workshop in Budapest, Hungary (July 14-16) (reftel). Eloumni agreed to share the invitation with the appropriate Government of Morocco (GOM) civilian and military agencies, pledged the GOM's participation in the conference, and promised to provide details of participants by the May 18 deadline. ¶2. (SBU) Eloumni is the primary GOM point of contact (POC) for this conference.
