1. (C) PolOff delivered Ref A points on November 19, but has not
been able to obtain a substantive response. However, based on
previous demarches (Refs B and C),and with Ecuador's deepening
relations with Iran, Post believes that the GOE is not likely to
change its previous practice of voting in favor of the anti-Israel
resolutions. Post will continue to follow up with the Foreign
Ministry to press for reconsideration of its policy.
