(SBU) Per demarche request, invitation and draft text were
provided to the office of Czech Foreign Minister Jan Kohout
on September 11 under Charge cover letter. Czech MFA UN
Department Director Katerina Sequensova stated to emboff that
Czech Foreign Minister Kohout plans to depart New York on
September 25 and thus, he will be unable to attend the UNGA
Food Security Event to be co-hosted by Secretary Clinton.
Instead, Deputy Foreign Minister Helena Bambasova is expected
to represent the Czech Republic at this event. The UN
Department had no comment on the draft text as of September
14.
