(SBU) Political Officer delivered the reftel demarche to Mr.
Petr Chalupecky, the MFA's Deputy Director for Security
Policy, on January 13. Chalupecky appreciated receiving the
points and understood our concerns, but did not offer any
substantive comments. He also said that he would forward the
points to Mr. Jiri Svoboda, Head of the Disarmament and
Conventional Arms Unit within the MFA. Post confirmed that
Mr. Svoboda received the points on January 15 and had no
further comment.
