1. (SBU) We delivered reftel demarch April 9 and 10 to MFA
South and South East Europe Director Tomas Szunyog, Finance
Ministry International Department Head Eva Anderova, and
Czech National Bank International Organizations Department
Head Petr Prochazka. Szunyog and Anderova reported that the
Czech IMF and World bank Governnors will support Kosovo's IMF
and World Bank membership bid. Szunyog added that the GoCR
will lobby others to support Kosovo's membership, but did not
think that the GoCR had much clout within these fora, other
than with Slovakia. Anderova promised to inform us as soon
as the Czech "yes" votes are formally entered.
