(C) Embassy Officer delivered the reftel demarche to Veronika
Kuchynova-Smigolova, the Czech MFA's Director of Security
Policy, and her deputy, Petr Chalupecky on March 18. They
appreciated receiving our points and said that Czech Foreign
Minister Schwarzenberg will lead the Czech delegation. Other
delegation members will include: Veronika
Kuchynova-Smigolova, Petr Chalupecky, Jan Kalman, a member of
the Czech MFA,s Security Policy Department, and the Czech
DCM from the Hague. She did not have any information on what,
if any, new support the Czechs could offer Afghanistan.
