(SBU) Emboff presented the reftel points to Czech MFA UN
Department Director Jan Michal on February 23. On February
27, he informed emboff that the Czechs did not anticipate any
problems supporting USG candidate Judge Mark P. Painter for
the UN Appeals Tribunal. He also indicated that he would
instruct his mission in New York on this, given the election
is March 2.
