Prime Minister Manning's office, as authorized, released the
text of President Obama's letter (ref). In publicizing the
response, the PM's office indicated that Manning "was pleased
with the optimism conveyed by President Obama in his letter
and (noted) that he too, looked forward to working closely
with the President during his term in office."
