Government of Papua New Guinea (GPNG) to participate in the
Regional Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI)
Counterproliferation Workshop scheduled to be held in Sydney,
Australia, September 15-17, 2009. At request of Australian High

emphasizing the GPNG agrees with its objectives. The GPNG, he
noted, welcomes the opportunity to be part of the regional
exercise and feels it will contribute to regional security,
which is a `key pillar in the GPNG's 25-year national plan.
