This is an action request for WHA/CAR. ¶2. Post requests the Department's assistance in vetting the following 16 HNP female officers who will receive security training to form a new Prime Minister close protection detail. The session is scheduled to begin at the end of this month of May 2009 (lasting 30 days),and therefore, the vetting process must be completed quickly to enable the issuance of supplies/equipment, pursuant to the Leahy Amendment and Foreign Assistance Act. ¶3.
