Poloff raised reftel points February 19 on the recognition of
Kosovo to Patrick Isidore, the new MFA Director of Political
Affairs, during an introductory courtesy call. Isidore, who
was recently transferred from the Office of Cultural Affairs,
said he had not yet been able to study the issue in depth but
would review our position and formulate a recommendation to
Minister of Foreign Affairs Alrich Nicolas shortly.
