1. (U) Pursuant to the Leahy Act and Foreign Assistance Act,
Post requests the Department's assistance in screening the
following candidates of the Surinamese Armed Forces and
Police, who have been nominated to attend Special Operations
Command South (SOCSOUTH) Combating Terrorism Fellowship
Program (CTFP) in Miami Beach, Florida. Post has no
derogatory information on these two individuals. The course
is scheduled from August 17, 2009 through August 19, 2009.
