(SBU) On September 16, Pol/Mil Officer delivered reftel
demarche to Mr. Der Kogda, Director of Multilateral Affairs
at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Pol/Mil officer
highlighted the United States' commitment to enhancing UNSCR
1820 and requested Burkina Faso,s support of the US-drafted
follow-on to that resolution. Kogda said he would share the
information with the Burkinabe Foreign Ministry as well as
its Mission in New York.
