(C) On January 28, PolOff delivered reftel demarche to Mr. Issa Some,
the acting director of International Organizations at the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs. Mr. Some noted that Burkina Faso shares many of the
same views as the U.S. on the issues presented in reftel. Some said
he was glad the U.S. was taking an interest in Africa and that the
U.S. initiatives being taken to resolve the numerous conflicts and
crises discussed should be applauded.
