(C) Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) Middle East and Maghreb Director General John Holmes will lead the Canadian delegation to the October 7 Like-Minded Meeting in Washington, DC (ref b),according to DFAIT's Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, and Qatar Deputy Director Gallit Dobner. She noted that Holmes is a trained lawyer, which, she said, will obviate the need to bring DFAIT legal staff.
