¶1. (SBU) Acting Pol/C delivered ref points on June 17 to
Chantal Meagher, Department of Foreign Affairs and
International Trade (DFAIT) Acting Director for International
Crime and Counterterrorism. Meagher apologized for her
unfamiliarity with the upcoming negotiations and expressed
regret that her subordinate managing the issue will be away
until June 21. Consequently, DFAIT will not be in a position
to provide its response before June 22 at the earliest,
according to Meagher.
