(SBU) In accordance with Leahy Amendment requirements for human rights verification, AmEmbassy Oslo possesses no credible evidence of gross violations of human rights by the Norwegian Jaegerkorpts (Norwegian Special Operations Forces) as of March 26, 2009. (SBU) The Norwegian Army Special Operations Command, known as Haerens Jegerkommando or Forsvarets Spesialkommando in Norwegian has been frequently vetted with no indication of any human rights violations.
