(U) There are no reports of forced child labor or
exploitative child labor in the production of goods in
Mauritania. Mauritania's exports are limited almost
exclusively to the natural resources of minerals, oil, and
fish. Because hardly any goods are produced within
Mauritania itself, there is little opportunity to employ
forced child labor in their production.
