1. (SBU) Per Ref A, Post followed up with Vasilis Demetriades,
Officer at the Ministry of Communications and Works for an update on
the status of Cyprus' ratification of the GPS Galileo Cooperation
agreement. Demetriades informed us that the ratifying legislation
will be submitted to the Ministerial Council by early December.
Immediately thereafter, the legislation will be tabled as urgent
before the full House Assembly for approval before the end of the
year, or early in January 2010 at the latest.
