1. (U) On October 27, PolOff delivered ref A and B talking points to
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Deputy Director for the
Americas Aboubacar Dan Barma.
2. (SBU) Dan Barma assured PolOff that the GON has already given its
full support to the candidacy of Lucretia Meyers to the UN
International Commission of Civil Service (ICCS).
3. (SBU) Dan Barma also assured PolOff that the GON would support
the same views as the USG on human rights issues during UNGA
meetings in New York, and promised to forward the related talking
points to the appropriate authorities.
