STATE 028191 ¶B. CHENNAI 000149 ¶C. TEL AVIV 000985 ¶1. (SBU) Post's Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) has contacted Indian Air Force (IAF) offices to address questions in Reftel A. Post contacted the IAF HQ office that handles MiG-29 maintenance issues several times to no avail. Post also spoke numerous times with Group Captain Aggrawal, who was unable to provide any information and apologized that he was unable to find an answer to Post's request. Aggrawal noted he may be able to confirm the receipt if provided with additional information about the addressee within the IAF. Post has attempted contacting other IAF offices throughout the month of May and June. However, to date, no other responses have been provided regarding the receipt of aircraft parts listed in the license application noted in Reftel A. ¶2. (U) Post will contact Group Captain Aggrawal again if more detailed addressee information is available. Otherwise, Post does not anticipate finding further information concerning end-use check in the foreseeable future. Post will therefore consider the case closed absent further guidance. ¶3.
