"With the Lahore blasts, the Taliban wants to give a message to the government that Pakistan's atomic weapons are not beyond their reach. The U.S. says Pakistan's weapons of mass destruction are in safe hands, but when Taliban elements have infiltrated Pakistan's army and government, how can it be claimed that the nuclear weapons are safe?" ¶4.
