1. In response to Reftel demarche, MFA Bilateral Director of
Cooperation M. Oumar Noury Abdelkerim told Pol FSN July 7
that the Government of Chad was willing to join the USG in
opposing the call for arbitration authorization at the
International Telecommunications Satellite meeting.
2. Abdelkerim said that he would call GOC Telecommunications
Ministry officials attending the meeting and instruct them to
support the USG position.
