(U) On October 3, state-owned English daily "Oman Observer"
reported that the government selected the U.S. based Chadbourne and
Parke, LLC as the legal advisor for a feasibility study for a large
concentrated solar power project. The study is indicative of the
government's commitment to developing renewable energy sources.
