1. (SBU) This is an action request for human rights verification
required by the Leahy Amendment; see para. 2.
2. (SBU) The Embassy requests the Department's assistance in
performing human rights vetting for:
AL SAIFI, MOHAMMED YA'RUB MAJID (DOB: 01/01/1966; Omani Passport #
00864833)
Of the Chief of Staff for the Sultan's Armed Forces who intends to
travel to the United States from February 22 to June 18, 2010 under
the Counterterrorism Fellowship Program Fiscal Year 2010. Embassy
Muscat has found no information of any kind that this individual
has committed human rights violations.
