1. (SBU) This is an action request for human rights verification
required by the Leahy Amendment; see para. 2.
2. (SBU) The Embassy requests the Department's assistance in
performing human rights vetting for:
AL KHATFI, SAID KHAMIS SALIM (DOB: 08/21/1973; Omani Passport #
00858989); and
AL MANJI, KHALID SAIF OBAID (DOB: 08/08/1968; Omani Passport #
02014516)
Of the Royal AIR FORCE of Oman who intend to travel to the United
States from December 20, 2009 to June 25 , 2010 under the
International Military Education and Training (IMET) Program Fiscal
Year 2010. Embassy Muscat has found no information of any kind that
these individuals have committed human rights violations.
