1. (SBU) This is an action request for human rights verification
required by the Leahy Amendment; see para. 2.
2. (SBU) The Embassy requests the Department's assistance in
performing human rights vetting for:
AL SHEREIQI, ZAHIR MOHAMMED (DOB: 12/15/1977; Omani Passport #
02543728)
Of the Royal AIR FORCE of Oman who intends to travel to the United
States from December 15, 2009 to December 31, 2009 under the
International Military Education Training (IMET) Program Fiscal
Year 2009. Embassy Muscat has found no information of any kind that
this individual has committed human rights violations.
