(U) On November 10, Post's Office of Military Cooperation inquired
into whether the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) received 23
cartridges, power device, part number 46138 and 26 cartridges for
fire extinguishers, part number 446139. RAFO confirmed that they
ordered the cartridges for their Super Lynx helicopter, but have
not yet received them. Reftel states that the End-Use Statement
provided by foreign consignee, Kidde Graviner Ltd., U.K., indicates
that the cartridges were for the EH101 helicopter. Post notes that
the End-Use Statement thus appears to be incorrect. Further, RAFO
does not have an estimated arrival date from foreign consignee.
Post recommends DTCC contact seller or foreign consignees for
further information.
