He and two others were also charged with planting a bomb on a bus at Ghatkopar on July 28, 2003 that killed 2 people and injured another 60 and planting another bomb on a bus that failed to detonate in Santa Cruz, Mumbai on December 2, 2002. The convicted are appealing to the Mumbai High Court. b. SYED, Haneef, DOB XX/XX/1962 or 1963; - aka SYED, Hanif. Passport No. Q548661, Issued 10/15/1980. Passport No. P468148, Issued 09/11/1993. SYED, Haneef was held in prison for several years while under trial.
