We delivered reftel demarche on June 3 to MFA Middle East
Settlement Section First Secretary Timur Zabirov, who
informed us that Russia would be represented at the
conference by Sergey Yakovlev, Ambassador at Large for the
Middle East Settlement, and Aleksandr Yefimov, MFA Middle
East Settlement Section Chief. Zabirov could not indicate
what Russia might pledge at the conference.
