1. Mexico's Foreign Secretariat (SRE),per diplomatic note
1137 dated March 6, 2009, addressed to the Embassy, advised
us that Mexico is seeking election to the Commission on
Sustainable Development for the period 2011-2014 in the
elections scheduled to take place during the 2010 session of
the Economic and Social Council.
2 Action Request: Embassy requests Department guidance on
responding to Mexico's appeal for support.
