The Mexican Foreign Ministry's General Director for the
Office of Africa and the Middle East Sara Valdes Bolano
called the Deputy PolCouns to advise that Mexico's Ambassador
to Egypt would lead Mexico's delegation to the upcoming
conference in Shar al-Sheikh. Valdes also noted that Mexico
planned to make a very "modest" donation. She remarked that
Mexico would like to contribute but that given economic
constraints and internal bureaucratic restrictions, it was
not possible.
