Mexico's Foreign Secretariat (SRE),per diplomatic note 03010 dated June 10, 2009, addressed to the Embassy, advised us that Mexico is seeking election to the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) for Ambassador Jorge Montano after Dr. Maria Elena Medina Mora resigned her post at the INCB. Embassy has faxed dipnote to WHA/MEX for forwarding to appropriate State office. 2 Action Request: Embassy requests Department guidance on responding to Mexico's appeal for support.
